In the beginning, the work appears to be back breaking. But once you overcome your first few molehills, you get quite used to it. One you get your first platform all lively and active, the first few weeks of posing may appear to be quite debilitating. In the beginning, many people simply fell by the wayside. They gave up too easily. They lacked the motivation. Hardly surprising, and it could be understandable if it were only excusable.
There is nothing that just a little bit of hard work can’t achieve – plus, of course, a little discipline and determination. There is this lesson. Work hard, son. Stay positive and things will turn out for the good. And if you have greater ambitions in life, for the greater good. Just remember that nothing is ever gained when you allow negativity to rule your life. Yes, it can be quite demotivating. It can be tempting to give up.
It’s easy to lose hope and give up. This had been happening to many people who simply gave up hope all because they were not getting many likes or gaining any kind of following for their social media efforts. If they were around today, they would wish to be buying Instagram likes. It is as easy as setting up your first profile page. Of course, for many, Instagram wasn’t around then. But it’s already ten years old now.
Probably older by the time you are reading this post. If you do not have an Instagram profile at this time, now is the time to write one up. The chances are good, and better, that you will be enjoying a respectable following. Chances are good that you’ll have more likes recorded against all the posts you’ll be sending out. And that’s just the thing. You’ve got to be hard at it. Make your posting work a regular part of your life.
It is like compound interest. Once it sets in, it keeps on going up and up, and up. And in leaps and bounds too. Send out at least one post a day. If that’s just too much for you at this stage, be kind enough to yourself and your cause by submitting a post at least every other day. Sending a post out sometime this week. And then sending out another one two weeks from now is completely pointless.
It defeats the purpose of the exercise. Regular users of social media do not wish to be irritated by such a flash in the pan. They’re overjoyed when you show them a stunning collection of photos. And they like what they see. And then they make a note to check in tomorrow, or later in the week, to see what else you have spoilt them with. They look forward to, and they expect more from you. But when you don’t pitch, they become livid and just move on.
A lost opportunity.
